The odds of a start-up company getting off the ground and staying in business is an accomplishment in itself. Excelling and being honored with an award and recognition among the finest companies in the entire state it was founded in just reinforces that accomplishment even further.  That’s exactly the case for Greenwood Village-based Turbine Labs, and its team of over 30 engineers, journalists, sales, marketing, and account managers, and administrative team.  Today, Turbine Labs was named a 2020 Colorado Companies to Watch winner, an award that highlights entrepreneurial excellence and innovative ideas among Colorado-based businesses.

The Colorado Companies To Watch awards are granted annually and organized by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, with an aim to recognize and promote the driving economic forces in the state by focusing not merely on growth, but on the true impact and influence of an organization. Judging criteria included Colorado-headquartered companies that employ six up to 99 full-time W-2 employees and have between $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue or working capital.

Founder and CEO Leigh Fatzinger strives to maintain an ideal balance of  “customers, people, and innovation,” believing that great relationships and great ideas can come from anywhere, and are often connected. He remains a steadfast supporter of Colorado as a still-underrated location to start and grow an advanced technology company.

“Growing up in Colorado, I’ve watched the state evolve into a world-class hub for technology and innovation. From access to incredible talent, support from government and lawmakers, as well as a very favorable cost structure, Turbine Labs would not be where it is without what this state has to offer,” said Leigh Fatzinger, Founder, and CEO, Turbine Labs. “On behalf of our entire team, we are honored to be recognized alongside the other finalists fueling Colorado’s growing economy.”

Turbine Labs is now in its seventh consecutive year of double-digit growth as it continues to bring in new customers and create new highly-skilled knowledge worker jobs, both in Colorado and across the United States.  Turbine Labs has built an AI-powered platform that helps decision-makers efficiently synthesize information around complex topics and events so they can get smarter, make better decisions, and improve outcomes. Aside from a world-class engineering team that builds cutting edge machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) technology,  Turbine Labs also offers an undeniable human touch in every area of the business: from account management to marketing, sales, and human resources.

Turbine Labs offers a fun and fast-paced, (currently 100% remote) work environment which breeds career growth, opportunities to be creative but still enough flexibility to live life outside of work. The entire team at Turbine Labs is humbled and honored to be included among such amazing and highly respected Colorado companies.
